Library

In conformity with the founding philosophy of the university, the library supports professors and future teachers with specialized information resources in elementary education. The library offers a user-oriented service system, equipped with an electronic resources room, elementary education resources room, and information plaza.

Computing Center

The Computing Center allows SNUE to transform a huge volume of information into electronic resources with the goal of becoming the ‘university hub for elementary school educational information.’ The center has continued to upgrade the multimedia system, educational software, network systems, and servers to provide students with quality service and information access.

Education Museum

Education Museum exhibits historical footprints of teacher education in Korea by showing artifacts and traditional materials by era, with the purpose of functioning as an educational display where past and current culture and history reside. The museum also collects, researches, stores, and exhibits elementary education resources to build the foundation for identity in Korean elementary education.

Press & Broadcasting Center

The Press & Broadcasting Center contributes to the training of prospective teachers by supporting a positive, lively university culture, promoting a sound academic atmosphere, and encouraging a democratic press within the university. The center has three divisions: the university newspaper, the educational broadcasting system, and the editorial committee.

International Language Institute

The International Language Institute provides programs to foster professionalism and understanding of diverse cultures for teachers and residents in the community. The Institute offers language classes in English, Japanese, and Chinese for a range of levels.

Afterschool Support Center

Afterschool Support Center is a ‘school in school’ to support afterschool classes in Korea. It is the first center of its type in Korea. Currently, afterschool classes in elementary and secondary schools effectively function as a means to supplement public education, reduce costs in private tutoring, and help realization of educational welfare. Our Afterschool Support Center offers training, education, program development, and research to enrich afterschool programs.
